anal revenue, oops i mean annual revenue, per employee can measure a company's performance and success in terms of employee productivity and workforce optimization. the top 3 in the u.s. are all tech companies, and no surprise, they are all located within cycling commute of one another: apple in cupertino, facebook in palo alto, and google in mountain view. apple has a staggering us$1.9m yearly revenue per employee, followed by faecesbook and google. how do sinkie companies stack up? $69k yearly revenue per employee?

https://www.bizjournals.com/sanjose...e-apple-google-facebook-cisco.html?yptr=yahoo

How much revenue does the average tech employee generate where you work? Browse through the gallery above to see if your company made the list.

Many of Silicon Valley's largest technology employers dominate the list. Apple employees are at the very top, followed by Facebook workers at No. 2. Employees at Google Inc. parent Alphabet round out the top 3.

That Apple employees lead the list should come as little surprise. The Cupertino-based company recently beat third-quarter expectations and expects a blockbuster fourth quarter with the launch of the iPhone 8.

Notably, employees at Cisco Systems are not ranked among the top 10, although the company is Silicon Valley's third-largest technology employer. The typical Cisco worker generates $684,000 for the company, placing it at No. 13 among tech companies.

us$1.9m per apple employee per year doesn't mean every apple employee gets paid us$1.9m per year. it simply means annual gross revenue earned by apple divided by the total number of employees. some employees make millions while some make only us$69k, such as custodians and shipping/receiving clerks. the apple stock option plan for new employees is not as generous as those in fb and goog. in fact some new tech hires are not given stock options unless they are "elite" hires. however, they can still acquire apple shares with a discount via the employee stock purchase plan (espp).

Precisely,it's talking about revenues per employee....how u can make such ridiculous sums of money yet require so little man power shows how ridiculous the it industry is.even magic cannot generate so much profit.broadcast.com 300 employees sold to Yahoo for 6.5b in 2001.make one stupid photo site boom billionaire overnight, make one stupid smartphone game,Cha ching 1 million downloads,$50 million revenues, make one e-commerce site and have zero clue how it works, boom richest chink in the world, start a fund and name it seqoia, invest in IT stocks,Bing bang bloaw, multibillionaire in 10 years.

Look at McDonald's,revenue per employee is barely $12,000 a year.if McDonald did not go into franchising and real estate they would be bankrupt.they cannot even afford to pay their employees cause their employees value is jackshit.it used to take 20 years to build a billion dollar empire using real world metrics, and a lifetime to become the richest tycoon in the world, now we have idiots like Jack Ma and Mark Cuban who make more money than God being clowns

Apple, Google and Facebook are nothing.
Look at Singapore, GDP per PAP ministers.

PAP is champion.
