US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Monday (Aug 7) that a UN Security Council vote to impose sanctions on North Korea showed that world powers were united behind a push for a denuclearised Korean peninsula.

Is USA contemplating a military option against N Korea?

Japan and S Korea must be very worried and many N Korea rockets can strike them. N Korea is not someone to fool around with Japanese and Korea lives within their striking range

US, like their former British Empire, want another similar 八国联军 attack on another weak country. They dont get it with China and Russia wont get suck into it.

China and Russia will suffer after the invasion and NK will pull down the North Asia region into trouble spot for US to weaken this region further.

Best is wayang and let NK drop a few nukes into US soil first then C and R pretend play nice guy warn NK only.

Flatten US to cause refugees in US soil fleeing to Canada and Mexico.

Capital flight follows out of US and money flow to China benefit Chinese economy.

U can choose yr friends but cannot choose yr neighbours. C and R must die die protect NK to stop US caused this North Asia into chao refugee problems.

Great analysis!

USA has been using Japan, S Korea, Taiwan to hinder and obstruct China. With a rising China, war in NE Asia will affect the countries there. USA will be relatively unscathed.

But is USA miscalculates, N Korea can inflict much harm on the USA too.

So USA has to think carefully before it burns the NE Asia countries

USA split Korea into N and S Korea so as to destabalise the region. They failed in Vietnam and see how Vietnam prospers now?

I foresee USA will get retribution for their sins when they bullied Vietnam, Korea, China, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, etc. USA has inflicted untold miseries in these countries and many more

the existing status quo is best. China has it's lapdog North Korea although it is quite disobedient of late. USA has its lapdog South Korea. the Korean peninsula must be divided from China and USA's perspective.

USA complains abt suicide bombs on tens of innocent US citizens, Does USA acknowledge that thousands of innocent iraqis, syrians, vietnamese civilians were killed or hurt by US aircraft doing their bombing raids?
