A flight attendant has been filmed pouring what appear to be the dregs of a Champagne flute back into a bottle.

The video, apparently taken in the business class cabin of an Emirates aircraft, was seemingly intended to showcase the luxury surroundings of Russian passenger Yevgeny Kayumov, who posted it to his Instagram, but the first few seconds inadvertently capture a member of the cabin crew decanting the ends of a glass into a bottle.

The short clip has gone viral with some commenters suggesting the airline was going to re-serve the Champagne to other passengers, or that the flight attendant intends to keep it for herself.

The lesson is to never drink champagne on a plane.

ok lah with sia. nothing like a glass of champagne virginly uncocked, oops i mean uncorked, and freshly served chilled with bubbles after going through long lines, nazi security, and the zoolander sexperience at sfo. as for departure from changi, everything is smooth and bubbly like champagne except for the horrendous wi-fi bs, thanks to playboy princeling and his ineptitude and incompetence.

Ok noted. Still prefer fruit juices on planes. More refreshing and probably too cheap to pour back.
