SO MEAN!!!!!

By Wan Dan Liao, Straight Times

SINGAPORE - Singapore men woke up to shock and horror after publicity images of the 2017 Miss Singapore were circulated online. As compared to past beauty queens, the best of Singaporean beauty was abysmal.

Reporter Wan Dan Liao went on the streets to find out what Singaporean men think. You will be shocked.

Meeting Lao Tee Koh aged 70 at a neighbourhood kopitiam, Tee Koh said: "Wa lan eh, this has got to be the worst edition ever. Just go the Geylang and you can find girls who look more sexy and curvy. If this is the best Singapore can offer, our standard really cannot make it. I rather go become a monk."

Hoping to get a different perspective from a younger man, Xiao Tee Koh aged 32 painted a hopeless picture. Mr. Xiao shared: "Even my friends at work dress better and look better than these monkeys. I think I will turn gay if the standards don't improve. Even lesbians at Pink Dot look so much better than these jokes.

Where is the quality control and what are the judges doing? Are they delusional to believe Singaporean beauty standards are so low? All Singapore men just turn gay and harakiri lah! It's the end."

The company behind this runs literally dozens on pagents under various names. They are not looking for a Singapore rep. They a just collecting money from entry fees and exploiting the girls. Its not just the entry fees, the girls are asked to pay for grooming, catwalk coaching, etc. This is where the money is.

Go to the website provided by Ptader, it quite revealing.

And their conclusion will be right. Sigh. That is why I am still a single confirmed bachelor in zikapore.

These girls must take full responsibility for allowing their vanities and inflated egos to overwhelm the painful reality that they have not been blessed with genes that would allow them to be seen or classified as "beauties".

But just like drug offences, we do not just punish the addicts but go for their suppliers. In this case, the "supplier" is ERM Singapore Marketing Pte Ltd, a company that organises beauty pageants such as this from its office in an industrial park in Ang Mo Kio. The unethical bitch who heads this company is Angela Tay, supported by the faggot Alex Liu with the fanciful title of President & International Events Director.

These two cunts are aided by a few others who can be found here.

View attachment 31115

These are the "suppliers", the cunts who should be taken to task and to be held equally responsible as the girls are, for this farce. These cunts have neither morals nor ethics.

It had to be obvious that when these girls signed up through the company's half-fucked online entry form, they would be ridiculed and mocked for their appearance. Nevertheless, these immoral and unethical bastards, especially the two above, took on these bunch of young, naive and impressionable girls just for the sake of making some money. These cunts are no different from the Chinese mainlanders who are regularly condemned for doing anything and everything, to the exclusion of morality and ethics, just to make money.
Hey, I seem to remember this Angela Tay won some beauty pageants in the 90s, no? Maybe she is just leveraging her past success to start this company. But still, she is unethical. She should have told this contestants that they have no standards and turn them away instead of taking their money. At least tie up with a plastic surgeon and send these girls to get their many body parts fixed first.

Her "achievements":

http://www.ermworld.org/who-we-are/

"Angela Tay, Director, Managing Director – Singapore
– Since the young age of 17, Angela have been actively involved in various pageant held across Singapore. With a strong determination to clinch the long awaited title, her dreams came true. She was crowned Miss Singapore Globe 1991. Not marking a stop to her pageantry journey, Angela continued her participation in pageants throughout the years, earning numerous titles under her belt. She was crowned, Miss Union (NTUC) and Miss Singapore Tourism Queen in 1993, and Mrs Singapore Globe in 2003."

Judging from how she is exploiting these girls, this is the sort of conniving woman with neither morals nor ethics. One who is obsessed with, and will do anything for money. So best to stay clear of this type even if she opens up her legs to you. That's not a pussy between her legs but a bear trap.

Just curious.

How does this event company get the license to organize and send a representative to represent Singapore in such events and with these standards?

Someone should come down from his/her ivory tower to put a stop to these event instead of wayanging in parliament.

Looks like we need to set up a secret Committee to decide on the options for future Singapore beauty pageant. Should we preserve it or demolish it ?

Someone should come down from his/her ivory tower to put a stop to these event instead of wayanging in parliament.

Such business activity comes under the category of "events management". For such pageants, the organiser/s will need to get approval from SCDF (for fire safety cert), URA (if 38 OR or parking lots are used as sites for the pageants), NPB (if parks are used), etc before the application for a "Public Entertainment (Ad-Hoc)" license from SPF ($20/day or $40/wk for one application).

So long as CSJ and CSC are not one of the contestants and the pageants are not held in the office premises of any opposition parties, applications for the licence are a formality and will be granted.

All it needs is for the Singapore Arms and Flag and National Anthem Act to be expanded to prevent unscrupulous people like Angela Tay and Alex Liu from misusing "Singapore" for their businesses and in their pageants. Left unchecked, they reinforce the stereotype of the country as one filled with ugly people. The reality is that we do have stunning beauties like LWL and HC who coyly hide their radiance and splendid looks in their ivory towers instead of doing the country justice by competing in these pageants.

Some background which will shed some light on why we always have such breathtaking beauties in all these wonderful pageants.

Contractual obligations and large number of pageants result in shortage of contestants

WANTED - women to take part in beauty and modelling contests.

An average of one contest is held every week in Singapore, and this has sent organisers scrambling for contestants.

However, the practice of making title hopefuls sign contracts that bar them from taking part in more than one competition has left organisers competing with one another for participants.

One competition that does not have enough contestants is the Miss Singapore International 1992 charity beauty pageant, which begins on May 31. An organiser of the contest, who approached several modelling agencies in a quest for participants, said she learned about the restriction from them.

She was told that many of their employees could not take part because of contractual obligations to other beauty pageant organisers. These bar the women from taking part in other competitions both before and after the finals.

She said: "We need another 20 girls, but with all the competitions going on now, there are very few models available."

She also has to compete for participants with the organisers of at least three other beauty contests and modelling awards going on this month.

But pageant organisers say this month is no different from any other when it comes to the number of beauty contests.

Last year alone, at least 20 international-level beauty contests and modelling award competitions such as Miss Singapore-Universe were staged here in addition to more than 30 local contests, such as the Mr and Miss NUS pageants. This worked out to an average of one contest every week.

Metromedia Marketing, a company that bars its contestants from taking part in other competitions for two months before and after its contests, said the practice helped prevent a clash of rehearsal and photography schedules.

The company has organised contests such as Manhunt Singapore and the Singapore Model Awards. Its managing director, Mr Alex Liu Bingan, 32, said: "This also ensures their commitment to our pageants."

Two of three former contestants contacted yesterday felt the contract curbs their freedom to take their looks elsewhere, and prevents them from maximising their chances.

Ms Angeline Putt, 19, a part-time model who finished as the second runner-up in the Miss Singapore Chinatown 1991 contest, said: "It's unfair as we won't know if we will win, so why can't we take part in others to improve our chances?"

However, the third, Mr Ignatius Teo, 22, a national service officer who won Manhunt 1991, felt that the restrictions put winning in the right perspective for him.

"I guess I wouldn't value one title so much if I could take part in and win five other contests," he said.

ORGANISER DENIES SEXUALLY HARASSING WINNER
147th Prostitute Press
23 April 1997

MANHUNT organiser Alex Liu has denied sexually harassing Manhunt 1995 winner Andrew Poh in 1995.

Mr Poh, 25, had made a police report on July 26, 1995 that Mr Liu, 36, made him parade naked in his Toa Payoh bedroom as part of his "personal grooming" for the contest.

But Mr Lui denied this during a High Court hearing yesterday of a suit which he, the chairman of Metromedia Marketing, is taking out against Mr Poh for breach of contract. He said Mr Poh had refused to pose bare-bodied for a feature on Manhunt contestants in the magazine Singapore Health.

Metromedia, represented by Mr Gregory Ong, also said Mr Poh, who works in an interior design firm, could not be contacted for assignments and did not take his title seriously.

Metromedia thus took the title back and sent Senior Manhunt winner, Mr Ismail Mohammad Tahir, 34, to represent Singapore instead in the international contest.

It wants more than S$90,000 in damages from Mr Poh for the organising costs incurred.

Mr Poh's defence, led by Mr Edmund Nathan, is that he did not want to pose for suggestive pictures as it might jeopardise police investigations into his complaint about sexual harassment.

In his report, Mr Poh had also said Mr Liu wanted him to become his boyfriend and lover, threatening to sue him for S$80,000 if he did not cooperate. He had even made a lewd suggestion about his lips and teeth being shaped for oral sex.

Mr Liu, who denied the sexual harassment charge, pointed out yesterday that the police had dropped the case after investigations.

He also said that his bedroom had no space for parading around and, besides, his remarks were said in jest.

He told Justice Kan Ting Chiu that he used to see Mr Poh together with Mr Joseph D'Aranjo, the winner of Senior Manhunt 1992.

He said: "The two of them were always stuck together, so as a figure of speech, I said, "Boyfriend, is it? I also want'. I meant no harm."

As for that remark about his lips, he said that he was given to plain speaking.

Mr Poh had a habit of rolling his tongue around his mouth because of his teeth retainer, he said.
So he told him: "You got blow-job lips, is it?"

He said theirs was not a strained relationship until Mr Poh wrote a letter to Metromedia on July 15, 1995, complaining about the sexual harassment.

In fact, Mr Poh had sent him a birthday card not long before, on May 6, 1995, in which he signed off with a drawing of a little heart.

Justice Kan asked him what his reaction was to receiving a card signed off with a heart, from a man.

Mr Liu said: "I was very surprised."

Parents who are obsessed with their kids participating in such pageants should ask themselves whether it is safe, or whether they wish to risk their kids' innocence and rectum by participating in these irresponsible bitch's and predator's "Little Manhunt" pageants.

I WAS MOLESTED TOO, SAYS 1992 SENIOR MANHUNT WINNER
147th Prostitute Press
24 April 1997

SENIOR Manhunt 1992 winner Joseph D'Aranjo told the High Court yesterday that he, too, had been molested by Manhunt organiser Alex Liu.

He said that Mr Liu had him strip down to his underwear and stroked his legs, stomach and sides when helping him prepare for the contest.

Mr D'Aranjo, 37, was testifying at the hearing of Metromedia Marketing's suit against former Manhunt 1995 winner Andrew Poh for breach of contract.

In his defence, Mr Poh, 25, had also accused Mr Liu, 36, of sexual harassment.

Yesterday, Mr D'Aranjo, a corporate affairs manager, said he did not report his sexual harassment to the police because "it didn't dawn on me".

In his affidavit, he however said that Mr Liu, Metromedia's chairman, had admitted to making Mr Poh strip naked.

He had also seen Mr Liu stroking Mr Poh's hair and buttocks in a "very caressing manner" during personal grooming sessions for contestants, he said.

These sessions took place in Mr Liu's bedroom in his five-room flat in Toa Payoh.

Mr Liu had told the court earlier that Mr D'Aranjo had an axe to grind because of a dispute they had over the sale of an S$11,000 watch, which ended in court last year.

Mr D'Aranjo's complaint about molest is the third to come up so far in this case.

Mr Liu himself admitted on the stand on Tuesday that a Manhunt International finalist, German model Christian Klein, had lodged a similar complaint against him in 1994
, but the police dropped the case after investigations.

Metromedia is claiming that Mr Poh, 25, broke his contract when he refused to pose bare-bodied for a magazine article. It wants damages of about S$90,000 from him for the organising costs incurred.

Mr Poh, who works in an interior design firm, had testified that he refused to pose as he did not want to jeopardise investigations in his sexual harassment charge against Mr Liu.

He said on the stand yesterday that he would have taken off his T-shirt if Metromedia had given him a memo, which the company refused to do.

He reiterated that he had been molested during grooming sessions with Mr Liu sometime in April and May 1995.

These sessions left him "traumatised and humiliated", he said.

Metromedia's counsel, Mr Gregory Ong, said if that were so, why did Mr Poh go back for about 20 of those sessions?

Mr Poh replied that Mr Liu had threatened to take him to court for $80,000 if he refused to be his boyfriend.

Asked why he sent Mr Liu a birthday card on June 6, 1995 signed off with a heart, Mr Poh replied that he did so because he knew that Mr Liu was a homosexual and sending him the card "would make him happy and it would feed his ego".

Asked why he invited Mr Liu home for dinner on June 9, 1995, Mr Poh said: "Just to make him happy."
