Government must set aside 20% of each taxpayer money in the bank for 10 years before they can use it.

Then use this money to invest on 11th years onwards.

This is call responsible governing. Then voters vote the same government again base on their trust, responsible and performances.

by the time u wait ten years ur money will be worth confetti from the currency and goods inflation.which is why cpf is such a bad investment,its real returns are almost zero after accounting for inflation.imagine ur money doesnt grow for 30 years,how can u possibly afford to retire?

they already sell your deposits and buy gold and foreign goverment bonds like T-bonds etc. And then give you 2.5% interest
