I tot due to 实名制 passport users must collect tickets at counter for purpose of checking yr passport n photos? Can deliver tickets to home how to check passport? Can deliver to hotel or not?

Actually 公安边防already got our photos n finger prints at airport, hence must treat us same as 二代身份证 for 高铁票 purposes 嘛？ Let us book 高铁票 on phone apps and collect at machine at stations done deal. Don't waste time.

You show your passport to the delivery guy, that's enough somehow. But normally I book on the 12306 app and collect at the station, you can still change your ticket timing twice on the 12306 app before you collect, with no penalty, and that's a good feature. I usually only collect when I am physically at the station.
