Depends where you are in Canada. Like at my clinic we have PRC chinese who demand to only see PRC chinese doctors who speak Mandarin and will not see doctors of other races.
There is nothing wrong with her behaviour. Wanting a white doctor is not racist, merely prudent. It is well known that many persons of colour have fake medical degrees or degrees from poorly established universities. If her son dies because she caved in to political correctness, she'd never be able to forgive herself.
In Canada the process to get a practice licence is extremely stringent. Not like sinkieland.

A diabolical doctor plotted to impregnate women so he could have sex with their children in a disturbing scheme dating back to 1997, according to reports.
James Kohut, a former brain surgeon from Soquel, Calif., is charged with raping children with two nurses from Santa Cruz County, according to the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
For two decades, prosecutors said, Kohut, 57, targeted women from Ohio, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada and Australia in hopes of having sex with their children.
The sick surgeon preferred kids ages 6 to 8 and requested that he be called “Daddy.”
“For nearly 20 years, the defendant has had a fixed sexual desire to be part of multiple ‘taboo families’ where the parents raise their children sexually,” Assistant District Attorney Steven Moore wrote in court papers in asking a judge to deny bail. “He has a specific desire to have sex with a mother and a daughter. He then wants to impregnate the daughter and raise the child sexually in the ‘taboo’ family lifestyle.”
Kohut had been investigated by multiple police agencies since 1997, though he’s never been charged until now.
Also charged are nurses Emily Stephens, of Pima County, Ariz., and Rashel Brandon, from Watsonville, Calif.
Kohut and the two women were nabbed after Brandon’s husband turned over a video to police showing his wife and Johnson sexually abusing children.
Kohut, who has a wife and two children, has pleaded not guilty to 10 felony charges and was charged last week with an additional count after another alleged victim came forward.
He was arrested shortly after starting a new job with a Fort Smith, Arkansas, hospital, which has since fired him.
A judge ruled Monday that Kohut is entitled to bail, which will be determined June 28.
His lawyer, Jay Rorty, argued in court papers that there’s no evidence linking the disgraced doctor to the crimes.
“There is no indication that law enforcement is in possession of any video or photographic evidence of Dr. Kohut committing such crimes,” Rorty wrote. “Much of the evidence against Dr. Kohut consists of allegations by Brandon, who has already demonstrated a willingness to lie to investigators regarding her own crimes even when confronted with images evidencing her criminal conduct.”
Kohut faces a minimum of 165 years behind bars, if convicted. His medical licenses have been suspended in Alabama and Arkansas and he agreed to voluntarily surrender his California license as part of his bail conditions.
