Serious Ivanka Trump's ah lao investigated by FBI!!!!!

Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and one of his senior advisers, is under scrutiny by the FBI as part of its investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, the Washington Post and NBC News reported on Thursday.

Last week, the Post reported that a senior White House official was a “person of interest” in the investigation, but the official was not named.

The Post, citing unnamed sources, reported that Kushner was “being investigated because of the extent and nature of his interactions with the Russians.” That includes a meeting with the Russian ambassador and a Russian banking executive in December.

The Post said that it had not been told that Kushner is a target. He has not been accused of any crime. His attorney, Jamie Gorelick, told the Post that he has volunteered to share information with a Congress on the nature of the meetings.

NBC News’ Peter Alexander, citing unnamed officials, reported that investigators believe that Kushner has “significant information” related to the inquiry, but that “does not mean they suspect him of a crime or intend to charge him.”

This really looks bad. 35 year old kid no training other than using his dad's money to do property deals negotiating with a veteran Russian spymaster and Russian who is CEO of an officially sanctioned bank. And to make it worse he asked the Russians for a secret channel to be opened by them. He or his lawyers have not responded to the allegation of the secret channel.

I really wish that Jared Kushner, his wife and his other fellow neo-cons get out of Trump's way. He is clearly using his father's connection to benefit his own projects via the eb-5 schemes for rich PRC Chinese and now this.

I thought the couple were going to assist. Did not realise that he has become the super chief of staff and super secretary. Nearly died of shock when Trump appointed him point man to solve the 70 year old Middle Conflict and publicly stated that if Kushner can't solve it no one can.

Don't read too much the press this days. They want to revenge for predicting the wrong president in the last election. Their chosen president is a lao kway bu.....better to prepare tonic than be president. Donald Trump is the president and those fooling around with him is stupidity. With the American press everyday faulting their own president it's the decline of USA finally. Even he go Europe they side the Euro leaders and talk down their own president. Time to see the strong rise of China......because Trump will need to cling to China and Philippines without much choices. Time to enjoy more lau kway bu tonics.....always the better choice.

There is nothing unusual about a back channel. This practice goes all the way back to JFK.

i agree with dhs secretary that having back channels with both allies and foes (especially rivals) is a good thing. in fact it's absolutely necessary to overcome misunderstandings and misconstrued intentions. rival intell and espionage communities work on not just back channels but also underground channels for decades, if not centuries. cuntries that did not exploit its use almost always went to war.
