Prayers held to mark 100th day of Pastor Koh's disappearance
PETALING JAYA: Friends and relatives marked the 100th day of Pastor Raymond Koh's disappearance by holding a special prayer and worship on Wednesday night.
Koh's wife Susanna Liew, daughters Esther and Elizabeth and son Jonathan, who were all dressed in dark coloured clothes, were joined by about 100 well-wishers at the Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC) Dream Centre.
Those who attended the solemn and emotional gathering included representatives from foreign and local Christian organisations.
Esther, Koh's second daughter, thanked and welcomed those who came for the prayers.
"Thank you for your heartfelt prayers for Raymond Koh," she said.
The service started with those present singing "Salvation belongs to our Lord" and prayers were offered to reflect on the 100 days of time lost without Koh.
Koh was abducted from his car by a group of men along Jalan SS4B/10 in Petaling Jaya on Feb 13 while on his way to a friend's house.
His silver car bearing the number plate ST 5515 D was never found.
Earlier Wednesday, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said a suspect was picked up in the north of the country last week in ongoing investigations into Koh's abduction.
