Chitchat Passengers Brawl With Mata After Flight Gets Cancelled! Guess Their Race!

A brawl broke out among Spirit Airlines passengers furious after being stranded by cancelled flights in Florida.

Passengers told WFOR that a group of frustrated travelers started screaming and pounding on a ticket counter Monday at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). They had apparently been rushed off an airplane after being told their flight to a graduation Tuesday was canceled and rushed the counter while others were waiting in line.

"At that point, the ticket agents couldn't handle what was going on, so they called in for the police," a witness told WSVN.

Video shows security tried to calm the passengers down, but a melee ensued with pushing, shoving and hitting. At one point, an officer falls to the ground while struggling to detain a woman.


She and at least two other people were arrested, according to the New York Daily News. It's unclear if they'll face charges.

"I saw two people go down on the floor and get ... handcuffed and dragged out of here, a witness told WSVN.

Spirit Airlines spokesman Paul Berry said in a statement that the company was "shocked and saddened" to see the incident at the Ft. Lauderdale airport, but blamed its own pilots.

"These pilots have put their quest for a new contract ahead of getting customers to their destinations and the safety of their fellow Spirit Team Members," Berry said.

the pilots will also get involved when the tiongs requests for their ashtrays in the cockpit :p

Actually these budget airlines need to be thoroughly regulated. Service standards has been dropping for years.

be realistic. only sinkies and shitskins like to complain to garmen and all full of crappy unreasonable complains(which is why they are only fit to travel in budget airlines as lazy ugly and full of crap). when your ticket costs one fifth to tenth of normal airlines , it comes with lots of condition like delay flights, cramped, over booking, crude passengers, lousy service, stnky passengers, etc etc. only idiots want cheap, fast, good, safe, pretty stewardesses, polite first class service in cattle class yet refused to pay for it. That's why I travell business and first class or private jets when possible. beats mixing around with these shitty people.life is simple. you get what you pay. that's why they invent first class, business class, private jets. IT happens everywhere and in every industry like hotels, hospitals, restaurants, cars, even social escorts. get real. only lazy farked up people with no status or power likes to complain(as this is their only avenue or means) which is useless as everyone can complain. yet they get jealous and becomes green eyed monsters when they see others in business and first class enjoying themselves. talk is cheap.

Budget airlines are not cheap and poorly regulated as they don't fall under IATA..
