Education is to gain knowledge & be wise. The 70% have education, but not wise. I never cease gaining knowledge, in other words, upgrade, learn...but that doesn't, mean I will make more money. Learn to be gracious, have manners, learn to be tolerant etc... Yes!
The PAP model is to keep upgrading, but where does that lead to? & pay more so that they don't get monkeys but instead they get gorillas..it is true that you join PAP to be rich, join their various "memberships" to get somewhere...but what has that to do with getting a education.
You may get an education & even have the talent to give education to others...but one behaviour is worst than an uneducated, like the Toa Payoh...ah pek pushing case...what is the use of an education...RICH!..YES!.
To get a well paying job like doctor or lawyer. Best is to be President scholar.
Otherwise, be some sort of entrepreneur such as hawker or IT startup.
Education is to make more money lah, for educators. Tuition a billion dollar industry.

the correct process is to educate ourselves at home without paying anyone and then use the knowledge u gain to make money without working as a slave e.g. stealing lunch money from sg pool :p
Establish ur pecking order within the society of meritocracy,grants u the right to "get out of my elite face" to peasants and lower caste members.promotes u directly to the higher echelons of society,if ur lucky enough maybe even a mp or ministerial role.

Education is about apprehending things in this world in their correct light. With right understanding, we allow motives to lead us in a way that best conducive for our self-interest.
