Taxi 'explodes' near Buona Vista MRT; parts of Commonwealth Avenue closed

SINGAPORE — A Trans-cab taxi exploded and burst into flames near Buona Vista MRT station on Sunday afternoon (April 30), causing Commonwealth Avenue to be closed to traffic.

According to several eyewitness reports on social media, there was a "loud boom and lots of smoke" when the taxi caught fire.

Photos posted online also showed Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel on the scene trying to put out the fire, which was reportedly extinguished by around 3pm.

very strange. recently 2 vehicle exploded and 2 engineers in 80s in trouble. There is a prophecy behind these and worth studying . The world is flat and unnatural.

These are uncertain times. I've stocked up canned food and mineral water in my house's basement in the event of a sudden catastrophe.

What sort of model of car is Trans Cab using? Modern cars don't just explode like that with all the safety features built it. All in all safer to drive diesel vehicle, less chance of explosion,
