Canada just legalized ganja (peace bro!!). And Canadians are not warlike (And hence no wars!). At most they'll play a hockey game against N. Korea (and win!

Most of the land is in deep winter for 6 months of the year. You want that land meh? Same with Russia.
Russia is in Europe so has seen several wars. Each time try to attack Russia the winter kills the attackers.
