An Oklahoma City woman has been sentenced to three consecutive life terms behind bars for physically abusing and scaring her seven-year-old granddaughter while dressed as a witch.

Fifty-one-year-old Geneva Robinson pleaded guilty to five counts of felony child abuse. She admitted to scratching the girl’s neck, hitting her hand with a rolling pin, striking her in the face, and cutting her hair while she slept, the Oklahoman reports.

The girl was kicked, hit, whipped, burned and “repeatedly tortured,” Assistant District Attorney Merydith Easter told the judge. The victim was also told that witches and creatures lived in the attic.

The victim and her three siblings lived with Robinson and her boyfriend, Joshua Granger, 33, after the children’s parents split. The evidence showed that the girl had been tortured between June and September of 2014.

During sentencing, Easter told the judge about the “house of horrors” the victim lived in.

The video that was used in the trial shows blood-chilling moments when Robinson is made up as ‘Nelda’, dressed in black and wearing a mask with her hands painted green.

WARNING: Viewer discretion is advised. You may find the video below disturbing.

Dogs are heard barking wildly, and the children on the sofa are very scared.

Robinson’s boyfriend, who is also in the video, can be heard saying, “Grandma’s sick because of you. You go with the witch.”

The child pleaded with the “witch,” promising to be good to her grandmother.

“I promise, witch. I promise,” the girl said, to which Robinson replied, “You lie, you lie, you lie, little girl.”

The woman was first arrested in September of 2014 after taking her malnourished granddaughter to the hospital.

Prosecutors alleged that the girl had been hung by her arms from the garage ceiling and whipped. They also said she had been forced to sleep outside with the dogs, kept from attending school, and deprived of adequate medical care and nutrition.

“What she [Robinson] did was horrific, and what she did will forever impact this child and her siblings. She deserves the same amount of mercy that she showed this child, and that’s none,” Easter said.

The woman’s defense attorney, Tanya Jones, said Robinson “understands she went too far” and is currently taking medication for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Robinson’s boyfriend was sentenced to 30 years behind bars on one count of felony child abuse.

(NEWSER) – A 51-year-old woman who dressed as a witch named Nelda to "repeatedly torture" her 7-year-old granddaughter received three life sentences Thursday, the Oklahoman reports.

Geneva Robinson of Oklahoma City pleaded guilty to five counts of felony child abuse. The assistant DA says Robinson's granddaughter spent months living in a "house of horrors" in 2014.

Robinson would scratch the girl's neck, hit her with a rolling pin, cut her hair while she slept, whip her, burn her, use a dog leash to hang her from the ceiling by her arms, and imply she was going to eat her. She did all this while dressed up as a witch named Nelda.

A cellphone video shows Nelda grabbing the girl while her crying siblings watch, KWTV reports. The girl begs Nelda for mercy.

Robinson's boyfriend, 33-year-old Joshua Granger, says Nelda was meant to keep the children from misbehaving. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of felony child abuse for dressing up as a demon named Coogro and helping Robinson.

Robinson was arrested in 2014 after bringing the malnourished girl to the hospital. Robinson's own children had also reportedly been abused by the witch, but the victim's father says he didn't think Robinson still did the "Nelda thing."

The 7-year-old victim wrote a letter to Robinson forgiving her and saying she was a great grandmother.

An Oklahoma City woman who terrorized her 7-year-old granddaughter by dressing as a witch named “Nelda” pleaded guilty Thursday to five counts of felony child abuse.

Geneva S. Robinson, 51, admitted to scratching the girl's neck, striking her in the face, hitting her with a rolling pin on the hand and cutting her hair while she slept, court records show.

"Robinson was not jokingly or playfully dressing as a witch to play with the children, but, in fact, believes herself to be a witch and carries out torturous or detrimental actions while dressed as Nelda," Oklahoma County prosecutors stated.

Robinson's boyfriend, Joshua Granger, also pleaded guilty to one count of felony child abuse, admitting he assisted Robinson in scaring the victim "causing mental injury.”

District Judge Michele McElwee accepted their guilty pleas. Both chose to have the judge decide their punishments. At a March 28 sentencing, the judge could order them to spend up to life in prison.

As part of a plea agreement, prosecutors dismissed eight child abuse counts and five child neglect counts against Robinson. They also dismissed three child abuse counts and five child neglect counts against Granger, 33, of Oklahoma City.

Robinson and Granger were scheduled to face a jury trial next week. Prosecutors were prepared to present evidence showing that the victim had been tortured between June 2014 and September 2014.

"The defendants would regularly wear scary costumes to scare the children — defendant Robinson in a witch costume and defendant Granger in what can best be described as some kind of demon costume," Assistant District Attorney Merydith Easter wrote in a court document.

Prosecutors said Granger would call himself "Coogro" when in costume.

Prosecutors alleged the abuse included using a dog leash to hang the victim by her arms from the garage ceiling and whipping her. They alleged the girl was forced to sleep outside with the dogs, wasn't provided adequate nutrition and medical care and was kept from attending school with her siblings.

The victim also was burned with cigarettes, pinched with pliers and told witches and creatures lived in the attic, according to prosecutors.

Robinson was arrested after she took the malnourished girl to a hospital in September 2014 because she "could not control" the child, police reported. Throughout her stay at the hospital, the victim told various authorities about Nelda.

The girl told a counselor that Nelda "goes into" her grandmother and makes her "do mean things," according to a court document. The girl also said, "Nelda eats bad kids."

On Thursday, Robinson told the judge she currently is getting treatment in jail for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. She said she also received treatment in the 1970s in Texas.

At trial, prosecutors had planned to put on testimony from Robinson's adult children, who also were physically abused by "Nelda" as children, court documents show.

Prosecutors reported Robinson became involved in witchcraft at a young age and "would attempt to cast spells on people."

At the time of the abuse, the victim and her three siblings lived with both defendants in Oklahoma City. One of the dismissed counts against Robinson alleged she cut a finger of her 6-year-old grandson.

Prosecutors said the children went to live with Robinson after their parents split up. The children's father believed Robinson no longer did the "Nelda thing" and was taking medication, according to prosecutors.
