People who voted for Clinton are mostly professional , working class people who has benifitted from the open door trade policy. They are mostly situated at coastal area big city like Carlifornia and New york.

But if USA is just as simple , Clinton would have won hands down.

Ironically the democrats and the PAP had many things in common eg

1. Beholden the big business via the donors and the lobbyists, investors etc.

2. Had the MSM campaigning for them and sweeping clinton/PAP shit under the carpet.

3. Suppressed wages by letting in any Tom, Dick or Pedro or Muthusamy into the country.

4. Divorced from the realities of life of the very people they are supposed to serve.

5. Divide and rule along racial lines. Hispanic vote, black vote, Malay vote etc.

6. PAP neglected the Heartlanders and did badly in 2011.

7. Hillary neglected the bible and rust belt and lost the election.

how to secede if the state assembly requires a super majority in both houses plus a governor's approval, possibly a super majority referendum via special election by voters and then followed by a super majority in both houses of congress, signature or a non-veto by potus, ratification of at least 38 states in the union, and possibly a majority decision by the supreme court as lawsuits will fly left and right through state and federal courts? to secede, california must have her armed forces and win a war against the union to be able to break from the u.s. constitution.

the national guard of california is the most well-armed and organized armed forces of the state with army and air units but in any war, including civil war, it comes under the command and admin of pentagon. the governor can only use it for state emergencies and disasters but never against the union. it is supposed to be the "well-regulated militia" mentioned in the 2nd amendment. ordinary citizens with guns are no match for the professional military units of the federal armed forces. holding guns in their closets is just to appease fear and for psychological satisfaction.
