Suck up to US and Israel and alienate all our neighbours,we kiss japans ass for all the wrong reasons,despite all the atrocities they have commited in the past,we side with US against china in the south china sea and repeatedly snub them despite the fact we rely on china for everything.if world war 3 were to break out tomorrow I wouldnt count on Singapore remaining a sovereign country for long.

He gave an interview to "Today" on why he voted as such. He said that the agenda was decided some months ago, he had no issues with the agenda and lot of effort had gone into it and therefore voted for it. He also mentioned there was discussion the night before on rejecting the agenda by some members. He obviously does not know what transpired after the agenda was set months ago and why 42 out of 44 rejected it. If after 3 days he does not realise that the agenda is not the issue, he cannot be that bright. I can only guess that someone else must have been doing the thinking when he was Mayor, MP and FAS President all these years and when left all by himself he could not put two and two together.

More likely that he got played out. Members probably told him to vote this way on the agenda because everyone was going to do it, then when he did asked, he found out it was the opposite of what they had told him. They just want to make him look like a fool. Probably he got too arrogant during the meetings and they want to take him down a peg.

This is the quality the PAP gives us now. Get ready for more of the same. Actually this is symptomatic and quite a serious deterioration in quality. Looks like he went for a joyride and did not care what what happening. Autopilot.
