There are many already druggies and other criminals turned good christians in prison, not much meat in there. Christianity is the religion of choice for inmates. Added bonus of counselling sessions to spend time away from cell. It also has the appeal of a special, sumptuous christmas meal denied to non-christians. Everything to gain, nothing to lose.
