You are likely to see these scooters sharing space with pedestrian walkways. The trouble is that our pedestrian walkways are getting too congested with pedestrians, bicycles, E scooters, baby carriages, wheel chairs, ...

The problem is with the PAP. Their eyes are bigger than their stomach. They want to pack Spore with millions of foreigners but forgot about the infrastructure that is required i.e. need more roads & larger pedestrian walkways.

The problem is the increasing cost of public transport. Even with record profits they are increasing the fares.
I myself have looked at the Escooters as an alternative to public transport but the problem is securing them & where to park them:confused:

Drivers hate them when they on the road.
Now joggers n pedestrian hate them when in park n pavement.
Cyclists must give way to joggers n slow down or even stop when near pedestrian.
Cyclists must learn basic road manners.
Which alot still can't comprehend they must give way.

Cyclists n scooters have to get this right.

I ever saw some sitting on a escooter with a small cusion seat .
May as well sit on wheelchair.
Standing on scooter mean u a lazy bum.
N sitting on a escooter u worse than a handicapped

There are some genuine on wheelchair.
N they want to walk jog run but it is not possible for them.

Then normal person choose to sit on a escooter.

in his defense, he did stop to render assistance and called for an ambulance. there was no video of the incident, sp know one knows for sure who's fault it is. could be the rider's fault, could be the aunty's fault. could be god had a bad day.

pedestrians need to deal with the new reality of sharing the pavement with PMDs and stop day dreaming or staring into their phones while walking.

a city of 10 million has no space for day dreaming pedestrians.

irony is that she is a daily cyclist herself.

Better that they warn you than getting slam by a fast moving object which can cause severe injuries on impact.

To cyclists who ring bell just because they want their path clear are irresponsible n a problem for all.
