They will probably build the Cross Island MRT Line under MacRitchie nature reserve. It will be underground to protect the nature reserve.. With SMRTs poor track I wouldn't be surprised if something goes wrong & trains break down in the tunnels. Just imagine getting stuck underground.

SMRT should start having such announcement in future: Wet weather today, commuters are advised to wear raincoat when boarding the train.
