PEASANTPORE: 1/3 Mandate President Phony Tan has expressed sadness at hearing Prata Nathan did not enjoy a quick death after a stroke on Sunday morning (Jul 31).
"I thought Lord Yama will recall him to answer for his Kempeitai era crimes."
Ex-Regent Ah Goh-go arrived at SGH on Sunday evening at around 7.40pm with pratas to visit Mr Nathan. He said that Prata Nathan was "seeing apparitions of his former victims" and that a doctor had said that the former Prata's vital signs were stable.
Ah Goh-go, who said he last saw Prata Nathan at the latter's mansion about three to four full moons ago, said he hoped the Lord Yama will have mercy on former Prata.
"He used his Kempeitai training to finish off many enemies of the regime. Through he enjoyed many earthly rewards but we know there is a dark past that he must answer to"
