Mourinho is Determined to Bring £25m World Champion at Old Trafford

Reports of Manchester United chasing Henrikh Mkitaryan have emerged this week,
and it seems Jose Mourinho has singled out the Bundesliga for potential targets as more reports
emerge of United’s interest in Wolfsburg’s Julian Draxler.

Bild (via the Manchester Evening News) say that Manchester United are interested in signing the highly rated German international,
who is currently on duty with the his national team at Euro 2016.

He only moved to the Volkswagen Arena from Schalke 04 last summer for a reported club-record fee of €35 million (£25.5 million),
per the Guardian, signing a five‑year deal, thus United would have to spend big to snap him up.

United have been busy so far this summer, having already signed defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal and with the rumoured imminent
arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic it seems Jose Mourinho’s plans to assemble a squad capable of challenging for the top honours and a place
in next season’s Champions League are well under way.

Draxler would provide some much needed creativity in the Manchester United attack, something former manager Louis van Gaal singled
out as one of his team’s failings last season.

The loss of form of Memphis Depay last season as well the sale of Angel Di Maria to PSG saw United become extremely light in terms of attacking creativity,
with Anthony Martial and Juan Mata often playing out of position as Van Gaal looked to ignite some creative flair in his side.

Highly sceptical that Armenian will be allowed to leave after losing so many players.

Better to look at that Swiss youngster, which will be a more sensible option.

Need one more centre back n right back if darmian is leaving.

    Can't be?

THREE clubs willing to pay Neymar release clause, claims agent
Manchester United have been linked with a move for Barcelona's Brazilian forward.

Three of the world's biggest clubs are willing to buy Neymar out of his Barcelona contract, according to his agent.

The Brazilian has a clause in his contract that allows the 24-year-old to talk to clubs who meet his £157m price tag.
And his agent, Wagner Ribeiro, claims there are thee clubs - reportedly Manchester United , Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid - who are ready to splash out.

Neymar, who moved to Barcelona from Santos in 2013, has two years remaining on his contract at the Nou Camp but there has been speculation in Spain that talks over a new deal have stalled.

Ribeiro said: "There are three big clubs in the world that want to sign Neymar and pay a clause of €200m to Barcelona.
"I cannot say more than this because it is sensistive. I can only guarantee that Neymar is happy at Barcelona."

United will probably end up with just a handful of players. The one that got away was Pjanic. Both Pjanic and Pogba are very similar type of players. Juve bought him cheap and it is likely they will offload Pogba in the coming weeks.

    Henrikh Mkhitaryan's Manchester United
transfer edges closer as Old Trafford giants
    table improved offer

United's pursuit of Mkhitaryan signals a shift to lower-profile, more attainable transfer targets

Manchester United have made an increased £28million move for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Old Trafford giants have upped the ante in their attempts to land the Borussia Dortmund midfielder with a significantly improved second offer.
And there is increasing confidence a deal for Mkhitaryan will be agreed, according to sources close to the negotiations.
New boss Jose Mourinho has earmarked the 27-year-old Armenian as one of his next big-money targets.
And United’s determination to land Mkhitaryan for Mourinho is reflected in the size of their follow-up bid and quick response to having their initial £19m offer knocked back.

Having gone three years without the title and after missing out on Champions League qualification for the second time in three seasons, the Red Devils are in a hurry to get back to the top and determined to make sure they are ready to hit the ground running next season under Mourinho.

They also want to show they have learnt from the lessons of the last three summers when they have wasted precious time on ultimately failed pursuits of unobtainable players.
United are now focusing on more realistic transfer targets and want to move quickly to bring them in.
After the under-the-radar £30m capture of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal, they are now pushing hard to land Mkhitaryan — who has also attracted interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.
United tested the water with a low opening offer, which was dismissed by the Bundesliga club.

But having established Dortmund’s £31m valuation of Mkhitaryan in the process of those opening discussions, they have now gone back in with a new proposal that is much closer to the Germans’ price-tag.
The attacking midfielder, who scored 23 goals and set up another 32 last season, has just a year left on his current contract and has refused to sign a new one.

Dortmund insist they would rather keep Mkhitaryan for the last year of his contract than sell this summer, having already lost key men
Ilkay Gundogan to Manchester City and Mats Hummels to Bayern Munich respectively.

But United have given them something to think about with an offer of an initial £28m plus add-ons that, in total, is understood to come in just below their asking price.
Mourinho has received plenty of encouragement to continue his pursuit of Mkhitaryan by the player’s agent, Mino Raiola.

He has said: “Manchester are Micki’s dream club, he wants to join them by any means. It would be a sin to stop talking.
“We [Raiola and Dortmund] have both taken very different views and fight for them like lions.

“[Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim] Watzke walks 180 degrees into one direction and I 180 degrees into the other.
But even though it does not look like it right now, I still hope for a sensible solution.

“Such an offer to join Manchester United might only come once in a lifetime for a player. Nobody can guarantee us that the door will still be open for Micki next season.”

We have Jones on the sick list. Why would we need another injury prone player?!!!

Looks like we snagged the Armenian. Well done. Reminds me of Fergie days where we get what we need quickly.
