Most ASEAN natives do not eat with chopsticks. They eat with their hands except for maybe vietnam wihich have strong chinese influence.
Asean natives, despite different culture, religion, nation etc have these basic similarities. never point with finger. use the thumb, always lower oneself when walking in front of someone else who is sitting. houses built on stilts. sampan for long journeys using river as highways. normally eat fish and rice with some form of sambal. if not for islamic and european infleuce, will probably use sanskrit as their official alphabet and writings.
