I am surprise it takes you 4 weeks to reply these enquiries which as stated you need to consult many parties:
Are you concluding/agreeing that MND :
1)Allow multi-layered foreign companies to manage our Town Councils as long as they meet open tender requirements?
2)That it is agreeable not to hv the Australian HQ liable for their contracted spore subsidiary?
3)That present contracts indicates only Australian expertise is so far the best n that there are no local companies qualify for such contracts which are financed by our HDB maintenance fees?
4)Profiteering by these Aussie companies are beyond your ministry supervision?
5)Do not interfere in the terms n conditions nor the performance of all Town council contractors?
Kindly reply asap as I am now confused why than we need a MND that is so bloated since you don’t manage the Town Council affairs?

2 The Town Councils are autonomous legal entities managed by elected Members of Parliament and are in charge of their respective daily operational matters. Town Councils may appoint the managing agent that meets their requirements, so long as this is done through open tender and comply with the provisions under the Town Councils Act and Town Councils Financial Rules. If you are aware of any transgressions of these rules or violations of the law, please let us know the details so that we may follow up to investigate.
