Sinkapore is only good for transit if you are flying to Australia/New Zealand from Europe and the Americas.

So, why are we spending billions on an airport that will see declines in pax?

The same reason why there's a mall at the Sports Hub. Was there a mall at the old National Stadium? No, everyone was serviced by the Kallang Leisure Park mall nearby.

it's understandable a retail mall, food court and children's playground are required as sinkies spend family time on week nights and weekends at the airport - the only cuntry where the airport is a getaway. :rolleyes:

In future plane more fuel efficient and can fly faster . All will be direct flight SG Changi doom.
