Lee Kuan Yew: 'We pay top money for top
talent.'
Apart from suing critics who are critical of your PAP administration, what
other talent and quality, may I ask, does your team possess?
See, on 23 January 2008, Channel News Asia reported MM Lee said the following
and I quote:
“We are transparent, we are not corrupt, and that gives an enormous advantage
for performance as well as investments. And we are meritocratic; we pay top
money for top talent, both local and foreign. In other words we have quality
people right on top,” said Mr Lee.
In short, MM Lee wanted us and the world to believe that Singapore had
quality people right on top since Singapore had paid top money for top
talent.
However, the performance of GIC, Temasek and CPF has been disappointing as
pointed out by Christopher Balding and Roy Ngerng.
It certainly does not go down well, at least not with me that Singapore had
quality people right on top as proclaimed by MM Lee even we were told that we
had paid top money for top talent. (Is Wong Can’t Sing a top talent and quality
people?)
It is even more disappointing and disgusting that none of the ministers, MPs
or super scale civil servants were able to rebut a rookie such as Roy Ngerng
without resorting to the old tricks of suing to prevent him from probing the CPF
matter which is of public interest to all Singaporeans.
Heck, didn’t MM Lee say that we had quality people right on top? So, why PAP
are all keeping quiet and not rebutting Roy Ngerng? Is it Roy is speaking the
truth? Too much loss by GIC and Temasek that CPF is now broke and not able to
meet its member drawn out?
For transparency sake, as claimed by MM Lee “We are transparent..” we, the
CPF members demand that the PAP administration comes clean on how our CPF is
managed and used and to answer all questions raised by Roy Ngerng, if not
Christopher Balding.
I, like the rest of other awakened and informed CPF members, are waiting for
the PAP administration to rebut and answer all questions raised by Roy
Ngerng.
But, don’t let us, the awakened and informed one, wait too
long.
