One proof of the non-partisanship of civil service.

We know the Registry of Societies which is famous for keeping dead political parties to show that Singapore has a lot of "democracy".

We know the Barisan Socialis which came out from PAP in the 60s thanks to Lim Chin Siong. Some years ago another small group decided to form a "Socialist Front" which is essentially the English name of Barisan. However Barisan is not deregistered thanks to your own hands, so how do you allow 2 parties with the same name to be registered and exist at the same time?

Why don't we have someone form a Parti Aksi Penduduk which is one Malay translation of PAP name and also PAP for short? Will ROS approve that?

However Barisan is not deregistered

"In 1988, the Barisan Sosialis was officially dissolved and its members, led by Dr Lee Siew Choh, joined the Workers' Party of Singapore."

Don't know if Barisan Sosialis was deregistered. It was officially dissolved in 1988.

These records show that Barisan Socialis is still registered.

This unofficial website shows that Barisan is registered and not dissolved.
