Clearly this is a local Malay/UMNO issue not a universal Islam/Muslim issue. What about the PAP? They are very very quiet. Next thing we know is Yacob will pull out the Inter-religious harmony council and do some wayang wayang. It will do well to declare that Allah is a universal word, Singapore being secular, but we know that coward Loong will side with Najib.

An United Arab Emirates (UAE) newspaper has expressed its astonishment with the Court of Appeal's decision yesterday to ban the Catholic weekly Herald from using the word ‘Allah' to refer to God, emphasising that the word was "not exclusive to Islam".
