If you want to get reacquainted with Traditional Chinese characters, study Japanese. Of course, there are some uniquely Japanese kanji, but most of them are the same as the Traditional Chinese characters.

Also, I've said that the uncouth and unhygienic habits of the Tiongs are due to the Communists. Mao murdered the soul of China. As long as his portrait still hangs above the gates of Tiananmen, nothing is going to change.

LKY experience this from the Japanese during WWII, learned from the Chinese and Taiwanese and did his own cultural revolution in Singapore. Killing dialects and mother tongues, installing English bastardized with English information sources was not by coincidence.

Japanese often use Chinese characters in subtly or very different ways from Chinese. If you want to learn full-form Chinese characters, safer to just learn Chinese from a Taiwanese, or in Taiwan. Taiwan is the last remaining bastion of real Chinese culture; they study classical Chinese, history, etc. there, so you'd also pick up some culture that you can't get in PRC or Japan.
