Supreme Court judge Justice Tan Lee Meng to retire on July 7

SINGAPORE: Justice Tan Lee Meng, a Supreme Court judge, will retire with effect from Sunday, July 7, when he reaches the age of 65 years.

Justice Tan will leave the Public Service after 16 years of distinguished service.

Justice Tan was first appointed as Judicial Commissioner on February 1, 1997, and then as a Judge of the Supreme Court on August 1, 1997.

During his judicial tenure, Justice Tan made outstanding contributions to the Supreme Court, the Legal Service and the legal profession.
