Dear readers, I got this from a proffessional friend from across the Causeway. I am sharing it with all. Have great day ahead..........

Malaysia Leadership Shows Skills At Abbreviations. But Opposition Comes Out Tops.

Upon his rise to the Premiership and upon successful removal of his predecessor, Ahmad Badawi, Najib decides that the FUTURE lies with the younger generation for the next election.
So he introduces the "PR1MA" or "PERUMAHAN RAKYAT 1MALAYSIA" for the young proffessionals, earning RM3,000/- to buy houses in the RM250,000 range.

The older generation, who have slogged in the PAST to help build the nation raised an outcry on this matter, and to pacify this group, Najib introduces "BR1MA" or "BANTUAN RAYKAT 1MALAYSIA", giving RM500/- handouts to all the people (RAKYAT).

The sundry shop owners raise their disapproval citing that with so many hypermarkets like TESCO, GIANT, CARREFOUR, etc sprouting out all over Malaysia, their livelihood is now threatened, so with the assistance from Mydin, he introduces "KR1MA" OR"KEDAI RAKYAT 1MALAYSIA" to alleviate the concerns of the shop owners.

This upsets the taxi-drivers who highlight their plight of having so many cronies holding taxi permits and their ineligibility to own their own taxis. To pacify this group, Najib hands out a RM520/- tyre voucher fo all taxi drivers to buy new tyres for their vehicles (which incidentally are all owned by the cronies) and calls this scheme "TER1MA" OR "TEKSI RAKYAT 1MALAYSIA".

The opposition parties are furious as the monies funding these scheme are being churned out from the hard-earned tax dollars of the people (RAKYAT).
So the opposition parties proposed to Najib a scheme (under BERSIH's 9-Poiont Demands) and challenged Najib to implement this for the next General Elections
They called it "PERUBAHAN UNTUK KERAJAAN 1MALAYSIA"
or in short,

"PUK1MA".

Dear readers, I am sure there are similarities here in Singapore too. Just what to call such schemes....? Please start thinking......
