Netizens: let's band together to stop the lying Ah Tiong Tony Du and his chinaman friends from Tien Fu Club. They will be "rendering assistance" to the family of the dead Ah Tiong Ma Chi and helping them move or transfer his wealth so that the accident victims can't claim from his estate.

While we are at it, let's find out exactly how these Ah Tiongs Tony Du and Ma Chi obtain their wealth? Come on, 31 years old Ma Chi is a "financial adviser" with $3 mil penthouse and $2 mil Ferrari 599 GTO?? Nobody in China heard of him, i.e. he is not a "fu er dai" or connected.

I'm assuming the car is insured and if so, claims can be made against the policy.

Even if you successfully manage to block any funds from leaving the country, don't forget that claims have to go through the local legal system.

Insurance do not payout for drink driving related accidents.

Victims can only sue the Tiong's estate. If the family successfully move all that they have out of sinkapoor, then there is nothing for the victims to sue.

For drink driving cases, the insurers has to settle the claims with third parties and seek to recover the payout from the insured driver's estate. This is to protect innocent victims.

thanks for the clarification, but what happens when the insured driver's estate run road or declares bankrupt? will the insurance company still pay out and LLST since the money can no longer be recovered?

The process is: assuming the family of Shigemi Ito, taxi driver and motorcycle rider claims against Ferrari driver's insurer (or be it the Ferrari driver's estate) and wins, the insurer needs to pay first.
The insurer then claim against Ma Chi's estate... it is the insurer's problem... obigood
