Taxi burst into flames in Central Expressway tunnel

A taxi burst into flames in the Central Expressway tunnel on Tuesday morning, causing a massive jam along the expressway.
It is understood the taxi caught fire before the Cairnhill Road exit.
Police have closed off the tunnel while fire fighters put out the fire and the charred vehicle is being removed.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force spokesman said the fire has been put out and no injuries have been reported so far.
