500K can get you a condo or house at outskirts like permas jaya, skudai etc. Cant get you one at prime like bukit indah and nusajaya area. you can consider older condos like aloha towers and danga view near danga bay on a 500K budget

Depends on which development. Each has its pros and cons. If you find the developer prices still reasonable, i would recommend to go for developers one first else if its not, then go for subsale but use your own lawyer whenever possible.
