scum on winning lottery - the victims

Recently the police has cracked down on the scum on winning lottery. They make use of another person's name, the victims, to collect money from their target. Unfortunately the 2 victims whom names were made used just earn around $250 to $500 but now the victims landed in jail. What a pity boy.

Do you all think that the law should have pity on this unfortunate group of victims, and not punish them so heavily by jail terms, personally, I feel maybe a fine of upto $2500 is quite heavy already.

to the victim, they believe that it is easy way to get out of poverty and some extra cash.
this is greed and those bad guys always go for these type of people.

bro,

sorry to point out your spelling mistake. It is spelled SCAM not scum.

Scum means under waste floating on water or soap. You can call someone 'scum of the earth' like those who scam people.

Ignorant and desperate people are always victims to these scams
