Lunch at a nice restaurant Brasserie by Water Library at Crystal Park Mall - I highly recommend this fine dining restaurant (but not fine dining prices as in Singapore) great food and service.

No wine just this

Freshly baked bread still steaming hot with home made butter

and Cold pasta with truffles and lobsters

Thaniya is a street in downtown Bangkok next to Silom Road and in the area of the infamous Patpong area. Thaniya is frequented by Japanese who work in Thailand and Japanese tourists. There one can find anything Japanese including Japanese bars and nightclubs, restaurants, banks, golf shops etc etc all catering to Japanese. Seafood there are freshest arriving from Japan every Tuesdays and Fridays.

Went to Sushi Tsukiji on Tuesday for dinner, this is Thaniya street

Ordered 2 types of clams, big and medium both different species

Started with the smaller clam tasted so sweet and succulent ordered another portion

Then came the big clam, was pretty bloody when they cut it, just don't look

Boiled and then ice chilled sea eel in plum sauce - strange sweetness very delicious

After 2 bottles of sake its good to have hot mushroom miso

Got the team 2 rounds of beer, really appreciate them for a great dinner

Saturday night had a light seafood dinner at Laem Charoen near the house along Ramintra Road. Laem Charoen started in Rayong Province long ago and today has many branches in most Central Malls all over Thailand. Seafood is very consistent and affordable with a very big menu. http://www.laemcharoenseafood.com/

Had a small party, lunch for office staff about 40 of them, very local food.

Raw veges - Thais like raw veges as a salad

These are boiled vege and flowers

The raw vege salad goes with this shrimp paste (balacan) sauce - nam-prick-kapi

Short mackerel (pla tu) - when you bought this fish it had already been boiled in sea water in other words its ready to eat from the stall however most of the time it is fried and then eaten with the above salad and shrimp paste sauce. This is one of my favourite dish
