You might know since this is construction related. You know how much does a 'laser distance meter' cost? My range of measurement is about 200-300 meters. Can use measuring tape but very siong.

Was surveying a land plot of 20 + 20 rai in Pluak Daeng. 20 + 20 because land plots are not adjoined. It's 400 meter away from each other. Not ideal because create logistic problems of moving equipments and workers between 2 land plots. Owner want to lease out 2 land plots together but not much takers due to the reason I mentioned above. One way is to talk to the owner of the land that is lying in between these 2 x 20 rai plots and lease it seperately to form one large 60 rai plot (2X20 rai + 1X20 rai) but he is in Korat.
My budget is 30-40 rai plot for rice farming and anything above 40 rai is beyond my budget. Also the land is not even in certain place which means I need to get a contractor to level the ground evenly. Quite a headache. :*:

Hehehe. Getting lazier and lazier. Just add boiling water and leave it for 3 mins. Add some ikan bilis and spring onion and lots of pepper and you have chicken porridge. Only thing missing is raw fish and you zha kuay.

Rumor after Rumor
Over the past month there have been rumor after rumor about an impending military coup. Of course the objective of any military coup is to remove the government of the day. Locals all know that the PM had missed several important meetings and even not appeared in any parliament sitting giving the excuse that the PM is on a very important flood prevention inspection tour around the country. Rumor has it that an edict had been passed down for the capture of the PM and dissolution of parliament before 24th June which is next Sunday and that about 2 weeks ago before the PM's "tour" the PM narrowly escaped capture. There is a reason for the date 24th June which to many locals who know their history is a prediction by a soothsayer more than 120 years ago of an impending event, obviously this cannot be discussed so openly here.
Also about two weeks ago many internet users had been experiencing slow internet connection be it line connection or even 3G. This did not help to calm the locals because now everyone is discussing that the military is getting ready to block all internet connections when the coup happens. Complains were made to the telcos and service providers but no answers were given, this made many nervous. Yesterday something happened that made this rumor seem more plausible, there were major disruption to all the major mobile lines from all the service providers. Broadband internet connections were also cut and then went on again and cut again. People where were worst hit are those who live around military camps where for almost the whole day yesterday there were no 3G signal and phone calls cannot be made or receive. Only those mobile phones without 3G or data connection is able to get a stable connection for voice calls only. Even at this time as this is written one could see the signal on the phone moving up and down and 3G signal getting connected and then disconnected. Again there's been no explanation.
If all these rumors are true it is so obvious that these blocks will eventually prevent videos and news from spreading to the world of what is happening.

Just finished street shopping at Chatuchak flower market bought 7 small and 2 large 富贵化 plants and also corresponding porcelain pots. Supposed to buy just one big plant but can't stop myself when I saw so many beautiful shaped plants. Aiyo not headache must think of proper place to put in the garden. Driving the pickup home now.
