Really stupid parents la. He is probably working as a pest controller catching bats and other critters now. Should have named him Mohd, than at least he won't stand out among the m&ds and be infamous.

His father is really following a tradition... where the son is named:

after a super hero
must end with "man"

It makes me wonder what will the son choose for his son's name.

Not many choices:

- Spiderman
- Ironman

Any other "man"?

I got this feeling that this that name "Batman" is not the English Batman. It could be the Malay version, something like "Bard Mun". Is normal for Malay names to end with man, like Azman, Suliman, Rahman etc...

I thought TS sounds a bit racist when saying that the father was high on ganja when in the first place you assume that Batman is the English version....

Thats right Bro.. Just asked my Malay colleague earlier.. He too is a Javanese Sporean Malay.. Told me there's no such Javanese name as Bat Man.. But yes, Suparman is a common name for people of Javanese descent..

Edit IC. Where have IC alphabet end with I. Same like plate number no ending with I or O. Because will look like one and zero will confuse people and data entry .

Confirm have. I have seen dozens. But quite sure there aren't any with O prefix.
