A second-hand car dealer whilst on the way to self-immolation, told his girlfriend that “he wants to die and die with his beloved car”
The avid car enthusiast dialed his girlfriend to inform her that he wanted to end his life in his car and leave this world together with his car. His girlfriend did not think that he was serious and thought he was only being emotional when he said those last words.
It has never crossed 31-year old Chen Yu Mei’s mind that when she would last meet her boyfriend, it would be a burnt corpse.
This incident took place this year on March 21 at East Coast Park Carpark E3.
It was believed that the deceased’s mother had died last year. Grieving over his loss, the he started to indulge in gambling and chalked up about $120,000 in debt.
