About the poll...IMHO, why bother and add more work to your goodself ? First, nobody will remember this "rule" in 1 months time. Second, Wuqi the moderator would be busy judging which post is political and should be removed. Difficult to monitor leh ? Next time, sure got more quarrels due to...

    Exchange Rates for RM

Cash cheque or hard cash. Should look at 'exchange rate + admin fee' as a whole. It may be gimmick to waive the admin fee because they can give lousy exchange rates. I have no comments which companies are better because I did not make comparisons ( should compare the rate at about the same time).

    Exchange Rates for RM

Remittance to any account in Malaysia would have an admin fee of $10 (Wealthgate). If the account in Malaysia is owned by non-malaysians, then limited to RM10k cash deposit into the foreigner's Malaysian account per day . If they choose to use cheque to deposit into the foreigner's Malaysian...

    Exchange Rates for RM

Yes $10/transaction. For RM150k, I still paid $10. No point to tell you the rate I changed at as it varies day by day. But it is better than money changer's rate and convenient location for me.

Re: What needs to do to open a bank account in Malaysia. I suggest you look at "New Developments to share" thread... & also the "bros/sis who have purchased properties in JB" thread. But I have a feeling that 500-700k budget means that you can forget about NEW landed project at Nusajaya...

Many of you say a lot of singaporean PMETS cannot find jobs in Singapore. Yet, we are told that in Singapore, there is full employment. Are there any statistics to prove this PMET unemployment problem in SG? The government tells us that if they reduce the no. of FT into Sg, less MNCs is going...

Re: Living in JB schooling in Singapore Received a brochure from Tenby International School in Setia Eco Gardens. It accepts age 3 till 16. I extract the below from M2H website. "Purchase of residential unit is exempted from FIC’s approval under the Malaysia My Second Home Programme. " So MM2H holders do not need to get state consent and do not need to pay RM10k levy ?
