the trouble with sinkees is - a lot still trust the govt, still think s'pore is a good place aka 70s/80s ... can still aspire to drive personal cars, buy private property in central areas, rely on the police ... like a normal developed country where the citizens wellbeing is priority of the govt...

how isit a 'better place to live & venture' ? public transport is overcrowded, housing is beyond the means of many, and the whole place is like one big construction site - noisy & dusty ? or r u speaking on behalf of the shopping mall tycoons with waterfront homes at marina/sentosa/tanjong...

ppl in singapore shouldnt be driving ... pls take public transport like ppl in other busy cities eg NY, HK ... so many empty plots of green space in bukit batok have been converted to carpark space ... i miss the open spaces ! since the great transport debate some months back, mah's...

for CNY, i know red/orange/yellow/gold are auspicious colors, what abt pink ? im referring to some decorations i wanna put up for CNY ... (pls don't say things like - valentines coinciding with CNY, or ah loong's dress sense, thks ...)

yeah, one question i have is - how come they don't need the tanjong pagar port anymore ? isnt the port more important than another marina bay 'shoppng & liestyle' district ? :confused:
