The ResQ device comes with three buttons...

Exciting as the fta may seem, I dont think it extends to the free-flow of labour across borders. I can't imagine Sg agreeing to this, it would simply mess us its labour policies.

Tuas isn't really too remote with the new mrt extension. And population density may not really be relevant either because if people want to use a facility, they will make their way there by hook or by crook, except that it will not need to be by hook or crook if the mrt tuas extension brings...

Good that cars are cheap in JB. So, when CG and R&F and all the other big residential developments are completed in about 4-5 years' time and assuming they are all filled with the 'fast expanding' population predicted for Iskandar, I just hope the state govt is far-sighted enough to start...

As though there is already not enough concerns about iskandar arising from oversupply issues, flip flopping policies, poor and impulsive government planning, investors also have to contend with increasing strident statements being made by certain politicians championing the local agenda and how...

Yeah u're right, sounds horrible! My dictionary says cove means a*small*sheltered*bay*in*the*shoreline*of*a*sea,*river,*or*lake. Is there really a sheltered bay there? Hmmm... Anyway, i'm beginning to think all these many many developments planned for jb is gonna make either an epic...

Aside from property market, if i were to live there, i would be more worried about maintenance of the estate. If many of the owners are overseas, there's a higher chance of them not paying their maintenance fees. This will impact overall maintenance. In such a mega estate, how will the Mgmt Corp...

Today's Sunday Times featured an article titled: "Johor goes from ulu to ooh la la". I found the concluding remark by the writer, John Lui, worth pondering on: "As Singapore's population gets older, as its costs go up while its land banks go down, it is very likely that my destiny, and the...

All this reminds me of what Tommy Koh once said: "[Asean's] mix of ethnicity has led to unique cultural traits which mark Singaporean Chinese and Indians, for example, as different from those in China and India. Malay culture has "softened" the rough edges, he said, and helped make them...

I'm not sure how reliable it is. The slide indicates items that appear to sit smack in the middle of R&F's site. So which is correct? I somehow get the feeling it's nothing more than advertising puffery to be taken in with a generous pinch of salt!

The R&F advertisements portray 2 iconic-looking towers that stand out from the rest, one on each side of the causeway. It looks as though the southern 'gateway' to johor and indeed malaysia has been 'hijacked' by a foreign entity. I wonder how the locals will feel.
