This Northern Regional Centres development had been planned to materialize before the end of the 2000s.
Woodlanders had been short changed and wasted that long many years to see major developments by the Sg gov.
The question is what is in it for the person to put himself/herself in the spotlight especially if he/she is true blue Singaporeans.
Many moved here to keep low profile so they can have lower cost of living and carry on their normal routine in Sg.
In other words, siow boh? Let the whole sg...
RTS will relieve the heavy cross straits traffic. Not only JB will have more ppl staying, woodlands areas near to mrt will also see more ppl especially from Malaysia staying. That is my prediction but don't take everything I write to be 100% chun.
Agree. Collect money yet don't know how to pay for more staffs to provide the service. Many suffering in silence going through the heavy traffic and few open counters at 2nd link.
Seems like they don't care cos not affecting them and happily collect gaji buta.
And it is huat for those in Woodlands surrounding areas. But then at the same time, the place will be crowded. Not forgetting that it is still a 5 years waiting time before we see the light at the end of tunnel.

Those who wants to get it approved as quick as 3 months use "runners" and it cost some money but I have no idea how much for this.
What you have said is very important. The bank would not highlight this to you and really is money down the drain. With b
Maybank I got no choice as then this is the only bank willing to finance.
It is not like we are first time home owner with no standby fund for early settlement...
The link house is not low end in EL. As it is cheaper than semi, so the rental is corresponding lower. Depends on tenants preference, big or smaller unit. Anyway link unit built up also not small, over 3,000sq ft.
From my experience, only Maybank insists it is compulsory while UOB, OCBC and CIMB is optional.
I remember the premium is high and given the choice, I would not want this MRTA.
Once the linkages start, the train would have left for many.
There is also the linkage to Raffles Marina and the Tuas MRT extension in the works.
I wouldn't mind the wait while enjoying waterfront living.
