Ya, it was a 14 floor market/hawker centre. And the coop at the cc was where pple buy subsidised rice. I also remember the coffee shop at the red brick 14th floor hdb flat for selling fishball noodles.

In the early days, Princess House was the Min of Education before it shifted to Kay Siang Road. Behind the Princess House, there were a hawker centre & community centre.

Forfar Square was known as 7 floor whereas Commonwealth Crescent was known as 16 floor, Tanglin Halt was known as 10 floor. There used to have a fountain near Tanglin Halt road junction. The Queenstown/Queensway cinema had KFC on the 2nd floor.

Re: I Think BK Is Heathier The cinema with Orange Julius was Regal Cinema under Cathay, it is located next to the former HDB main office. It also had a McDonald but it ceased operation in 2010. Right now, this cinema is being demolished.
