    Re: The Epic :) Actually I do not think so especially if the logistic hub requires a large area. Singapore should target industry or jobs that needs little space but employs highly skill people.

    If 50% of condo goes to foreigner, the other 50% goes to SPR and outstation ? With so many condo unit avail I think there must be some level of local consumption.

    When land price is relatively cheap to building material it is like that. Also market demand at play. Developers can sell only 30% of bungolows vs 50% of condo to foreigners. But i think it is mainly material cost.

    In the first place the banks must have supported the developers' price. Otherwise if the buyer or borrower defaults on the payment the bank must be confident to get the money back from the sale of the condo.

    Re: The Epic :) 95% of the work is on Malaysian side. Unless they are willing to set up a join company to build and run the hsr system, I see Singapore playing a supporting role.
