so how did the project fare? curious to know. cos if I haven't bought into JB, I wouldn't bother buying now. the flip flop of the MY govt just goes to show how amateurish they are. its no longer abt affordability. its just buay song.

Re: south facing I think its silly for Singaporeans to buy Mickey Mouse units in JB when they can easily do it in SG. 2 Bedders are reasonable. 1 room for the wife and yourself. the other room for the kids. a sofa bed in the living for the maid.

So how? who's buying? it's quite far "inland" which decreases its glam factor. but then again if and when the office and commercial blocks are up and running, then the focus might be the OLs in the area. after work, happy hour downstairs at the pub, then bring her up to the apartment. sounds...

if true, then maybe we should see what other things are included. Pine tree project at 1,200 includes (supposedly - cos based on the brochure) marble floor for living room, full ht wardrobe, microwave cum over, water heater, air con, washing machine, timber floor (bedroom), etc and DIBS some...

have already written many times before. don't just look at psf cost alone. RM730psf, I suspect, is a naked/bare unit. no air con. no cupboard. no flooring. no switches. etc. IMO, I would avoid projects like this. better to buy more expensive projects to have better neighbours.

I think for most of us retail investors, to buy 1 property in JB for fun (play play if you know what I mean) is ok. To plonk RM4-8 million in a jungle like JB is too risky. its the land of flip flop policies after all.

You really very lao Jiao. your reasonings make a lot of sense. while I agree with your main point, I want to point out one big difference. HCM and KL are both capitals. JB is not. and the quality of the population in JB is still not efficient/productive as compared to KL. For JB to succeed, the...

Is it compulsory to pay for MRTA (mortgage insurance) when loaning from bank?

at first bank said if I bought insurance from them, they will lend me 85%. then when approval came in at 80%, they didn't need me to buy. my loan philosophy is always to borrow to the max and for the longest period of time. this gives you the flexibility to plan your cash flow and of cos, for...
