In Singapore, I was able to watch HD5 on my analogue TV thru the Starhub cable. So as long as it comes thru the cable, it should be fine. Not too sure about MioTV

IMO, the best reception can be obtained using the antennas installed on the roof. All the Sg channels can be received except for the HD channels. If you want to watch digital TV channels of HD channels from Sg, you'll need to buy a TV with built-in digital TV tuner.
