Yes, if KL and SG are linked via HSR, we are talking about combined population exceeding 10m. Economies of scale, labour and capital flow etc will enable the whole region to compete much better with the mega cities. We will be in another league !

Just a note to u that not all old condos are run down. I have seen condos more than 12 years at JBCC still very well maintained .

their recent launch is either 3k or 7k units ...cannot remember . actually the whole devmt is closer to 30K units (OMG !) but I dunno over how many years...

yup, Federal govt has more motivation to build the HSR . can masuk more mah :) some more now even the SG PM Lee has come out to say HSR station likely to be at Jurong East. In fact KL people now seem more keen on Nusajaya as evidenced by their renewed interest in the latest Medini condo launch.
