Sorry to be insensitive. I believe all of us not specifically bothered whether it's a mosque, church or temple. Whatever place of worship, some people would have like to keep a little distant from our home; the same goes for all public buildings. Not we are against religion or anything. But...

Honestly, I don't mind to give up my citizenship if SG government doing better in protecting their citizens. I need some security because I will never be able to get back my Malaysia citizenship if I ever give it up.

:). Unfortunately I'm not one of those fortunate SPRs. I've missed the boat. My career took off too late, I got married too late - I will never be eligible for HDB so I don't own any. I don't think I will be able to afford private property in Singapore too, so I'm forced to uproot here in...

No offense, but i think your innocuous comment here might upset some of our Singaporean friends here because it does sound like you are milking profit from Singapore HDB. Btw, I'm SPR too... Also, if you are SPR, you might not want to discuss your intention to rent out HDB as under new HDB...

Mine is corner lot, so should be fine. I have many friends who have serious interest in dog agility and they have more than 2 dogs. I have never asked them how they get away with that but all those dogs are indoor dogs and they live in intermediate terrace house. I guess in boleh land, you can...

I prefer to adopt puppies too if given options. We can train them from young. Some adult dogs might have have been traumatized or abused, their temperament and behavior can be affected. We dont have Cesar Milan here to help training bad dogs. My friend adopted her 4th dog from a shelter She is a...

It's pretty sad. Even more sad that they are in the same neighbourhood. I would love to adopt 2 dogs. Once I have moved there, I might adopt 2 dogs from Noah's Ark. I have a dog in Singapore, but being the darling of the house - my family won't let me move her to Iskandar. My dog also have...

I agree. I have seen some people treat dogs so bad. I drove by around Nusa Idaman and I saw a corner lot house in one of the precinct, I dont remember which one. The owner lock a dog in a cage where they place right at the back door gate. It's such a tiny cage and the weather is so darn hot. I...

About security my unit in 7A have so much to worry about in the next 2-3years. They gonna launch the semi-d next year just opposite my street. Even they do hv that cheap zinc wall, but having construction workers so close to your house all the time quite worrying. :( Perhaps I should adopt dogs.

Totally agree! All I want now is some private space with family, home cook food, homegrown herbs/fruits, spend time with kids and pets....I want my kids to grow up in nature settings, learning life skills, not spending their whole time playing iPad. lol. I speak Malay fluently but I don't know what this meant too. "Sukan bukan rakyat Msia" was translated to "Malaysian citizens not sporting" because direct translated "sukan" is sport in Malay. My guess, might be typo by whoami "Bukan rakyat Msia" or "Saya bukan rakyat Msia" = I'm not...

Yes, it's true that we need to pay only RM1 for medicine from government hospital. But because it's so cheap the queue is normally very long you have to literally take one day off or waited a few hours even before their operating time. We were told it will be during mid this year too. But we don't plan to move in anytime soon. If possible I really want to wait until the semi-D project in the precinct fully built first but that going to be a long wait. I'm just not comfortable with the thought of having construction workers...
