Yes, I have been going almost every month for the last 6 months to document progress and take measurements as the architect plans are not that accurate compared to the actual dimensions. The LF sales guy (Akmal) is very helpful to take me there and let me in as and when I need to.

Also the quality of the road is terrible, got more holes than swiss cheese. I have a pretty low car so its impossible to take my car down this road without seriously causing some damage. So i am stuck with the long way round until the new slip roads get finished.....if ever!

Thanks for sharing. I have not found a wireless router that can manage the throughput I need. It is not a matter of coverage but speed. The media I send around the house is multiple 1080p HD video streams and 192/24 bit HD music (this in itself is peaking 10MB/s) which is all too much for Wireless.

You need a pair as the router that is built into the socket has the necessary electronics and safety equipment to connect to the house wiring mains (230V AC). If you didn't have one at each end how would you connect to the mains wiring?

Hi Grago, I'm afraid it is UK. If you look on the powerethernet website under "where to buy" they have a list of sellers but all in UK. I haven't found anywhere in Singapore that does a nice outlet with built in 2 or 4 port router. I had to bite the bullet and get them to deliver to Singapore...

Me too as it doesn't pass the "wife factor" but sometimes no choice when WiFi can't stream fast enough.

I already have wireless in the house so I don't need these, and they look a bit ugly protruding from a socket and they use a mains socket which can be annoying. I use the powerethernet devices where I need a permanent fast Ethernet connection (they are faster than wireless) for my servers and...

My kids are enrolled in to Marlborough college which is no more than 30 mins (at worst) drive from LF, so their travel time will shorten to what they do at the moment in SG :)
