Yes. I booked it online at the ktm website..it is advisable to book online as the tickets run out very fast...some slots one month in advance have to book..

Yeah, hopefully the fact that they need to open up more timings show there is a strong demand and they will expedite the RTS.

They have added more train timings to the Tebrau shuttle....will try taking it this weekend with my hubby....if it is efficient, then semi retiring in JB is more attractive, can even bring my kids back to Sg for study....only thing is train tickets run out fast....thinking of taking the 6am...

The quality of degree matters as it will attract more demand for the properties there..

The last I checked, Newcastle medical degree is not recognised in Sg if from Iskandar but International Medical University in KL graduates can work in Sg..

How were your new rates...Mine is one loan at 1.25%, 1.45% and 1.55% for 3 years fixed with Maybank and another at 1.98% fixed for 2 years with OCBC(a smaller amount which we could not reprice till recently as loan not fully disbursed)...the latter just approved yesterday fortunately...

Thought of putting my kids in International school in JB but now concerned that they seem to take 11 years to get the equivalent of secondary education so will be 19 years old by the time they finish A level or equivalent which will affect their NS enlistment at 18 years old...guess they will...

I bought in 2013 too..with a 100% equity loan against my Sg terrace so paid very minimal upfront as it is also rented out now...

I bought mine for rm950k only...I believe there are still owners selling below rm1mil as I last checked with propertyguru...

My place at Austin Heights is like landed within a condo environment as there is a clubhouse with swimming pool and gym and function room...best it is pay per use so do not have to pay hefty monthly maintenance like condo...and there is free basketball court and football field too..:)
